For our first project in China, we are exhibiting at the Moordn Art Fair in Guangzhou. We invite the audience on a visual and cultural journey shaped by an encounter between powerful European artistic positions and outstanding contemporary Chinese voices. This presentation is conceived as a dialogue—an exchange of visions, sensibilities, and experiences that transcend borders.
The European artists we bring to Guangzhou are no strangers to China: each of them has engaged with the country through residencies, museum exhibitions, or long-term collaborations that have significantly influenced their artistic development.
Equally important—and central to this project—are the trajectories of the selected Chinese artists in Europe. Their exhibitions, residencies, and research projects across the EU, and especially in Italy, have played a vital role in building artistic bridges between the two continents. Their work has contributed to shaping contemporary dialogues within European art institutions, fostering mutual understanding and expanding cultural perspectives. Their profound connection to Italy, the motherland of gallery founder Luisa Catucci, reinforces the spirit of exchange and shared creativity at the core of this initiative.
By placing these perspectives side by side, we aim to illuminate the rich reciprocity between China and Europe. This project becomes a bridge: a celebration of artistic affinities, intercultural influence, and the fertile ground where East and West meet to generate new creative horizons.
对于路易莎·卡图奇画廊（Luisa Catucci Gallery）首次在中国亮相、参展广州 Moordn 艺术博览会的项目，我们诚邀观众踏上一段视觉与文化交织的旅程——一场融合欧洲主流艺术理念与中国当代杰出创作视角的视觉文化之旅。本次呈现以“对话”为核心：一种跨越国界的视觉交流、感性共振与经验互释。
我们带到广州的欧洲艺术家并非中国的陌生人：他们分别通过驻留、博物馆展览或长期合作，与中国建立了深刻而持续的联系，这些经历也对他们的艺术创作产生了重要影响。
同样关键、也是本项目的核心，是入选的中国艺术家在欧洲的艺术轨迹。他们在欧州——尤其是在意大利的展览、驻留与研究计划，为中欧之间的艺术交流搭建了稳固的艺术桥梁。他们的作品积极地推动了欧洲艺术机构内部的当代艺术对话，促进了彼此的理解，拓宽了参与各方的文化视野。他们与意大利之间深厚的关联，也与画廊创始人路易莎·卡图奇的意大利裔身份呼应，共同强化了本次计划所倡导的交流精神与共享创造力。
通过并置这些不同的创作视角，我们希望促进中国与欧洲之间深厚而互惠的文化关系。该计划架起了一座文化桥梁 —— 既彰显艺术领域的相通之美，传递跨文化交流的深远影响，更在东西方相遇的沃土上，孕育出更多的创作可能。
